This Privacy Notice explains how NeuralTask™ (hereinafter, “Controller”, “we”) processes personal data of users who visit the website and provide their email to be informed about the app launch and related initiatives. Processing is carried out in compliance with the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), applicable Italian law, and, when relevant, non-EU laws.
This Notice complements our Terms & Conditions and Cookie Policy.

Data provided directly by the user
- Email (for notification requests, beta testing, and project communications).
- Consents given via checkboxes (Terms/Privacy/Cookie Policy; Marketing; Age ≥16).
Data collected automatically via the form (without non-essential cookies)
- User-Agent (browser, version), platform, language, vendor.
- Non-identifying device features (e.g., screen resolution, devicePixelRatio, number of cores).
- Time zone; any UTM/referrer parameters from campaigns.
- Double-opt-in status (pending/confirmed) and marketing preferences.
We do not perform automated profiling that produces legal effects on the user.
3) Purposes and Legal Bases
(A) Registration and service communications
Notifications about app availability, beta testing invitations, technical/organizational information.
Legal basis: execution of pre-contractual measures at the data subject’s request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and/or consent (Art. 6.1.a).
(B) Marketing communications
Newsletters, updates, promotions about NeuralTask™. Sent only if you have given marketing consent (mandatory checkbox in the form).
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Revocable at any time.
(C) Security, abuse prevention, and legal defense
Service protection, safeguarding the rights of the Controller or third parties.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
(D) Essential statistics and service improvement
Technical metrics aggregated/anonymized to understand interest in the project. Any non-essential measurement tools are disabled until consent via cookie banner.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (strictly necessary measures) and/or consent for non-essential cookies (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
4) Nature of Provision and Consequences of Refusal
Providing your email and mandatory consents (Terms/Privacy/Cookie Policy, Marketing, Age ≥16) is necessary to subscribe to the list. Without them, registration cannot be completed.
5) Processing Methods
Data are processed with electronic tools and appropriate security measures (access controls, encryption at rest/in transit when implemented, access logging). We apply the principle of minimization, retaining only what is necessary and for the required time.
6) Retention
- Email and consent metadata: until consent is revoked or deletion requested; periodic review every
12 months. - Technical and security logs: for the time strictly necessary for security and defense purposes (usually
6–12 months).
7) Recipients and Processors
Data may be processed by authorized parties of the Controller and by providers offering technical services (e.g., hosting, email sending, CRM) appointed as Processors under Art. 28 GDPR.
Typical providers (for example):
- Hosting/Cloud and CDN (
e.g. Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare, AWS). - Email services / newsletters (
e.g. Brevo/Sendinblue, Mailchimp, AWS SES). - Analytics tools only with prior consent (
e.g. Plausible, Matomo, Google Analytics 4).

8) International Transfers
If some providers process data outside the EEA/UK (e.g., in the USA), transfers occur in compliance with Chapter V GDPR, adopting appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission and, if necessary, supplementary measures). For the UK, transfer mechanisms under the UK GDPR apply.
9) Data Subject Rights
You may exercise your rights under Articles 15–22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, as well as withdrawal of consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights: privacy@neuraltask.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy: Data Protection Authority).
10) Minors
Subscription is intended for users aged 16 or older (or the equivalent minimum age in their country). We do not knowingly collect data from minors below this age.
11) Cookies and Similar Technologies
Essential technical cookies do not require consent. Any measurement/marketing cookies are disabled until your consent via the banner. For details (types, purposes, retention periods, third parties), please see our Cookie Policy.
12) Automation, Automated Decisions, and Profiling
We do not use automated decision-making processes that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Promotional communications are sent only with your consent; content can be personalized based on minimal data provided (e.g., language or UTM), respecting the minimization principle.
13) Changes
We may update this Notice to reflect regulatory or service changes. Updated versions will be posted on this page with the update date. In case of substantial changes, we may notify you by email (if technically feasible).
